Every place has its own quirks and character, and I take care to capture the small details that bring you back to that place. Whether that’s the venue where you got married, your childhood home, your favourite café, or a first home together - it deserves to be more than a memory.

Send me photos of the house or place (in the angle you’d like it to be drawn) along with any details that matter to you. I can work from a Google maps reference too, sharing the address is always helpful!

Feel free to flag anything you'd like changed from the reference photo at this stage, like trimming back overgrown foliage.

Sketching

I put together an initial sketch that maps out the composition and key details, so we can make sure everything feels right before moving into full colour and detail. You will have the opportunity to review this phase before moving further.

Want a pet added by the front steps? A tweak to the windows? You can request up to 2 rounds of modifications. Once this version is approved, the composition will no longer change.

Linework and Colour

Once the sketch is approved, I bring it to life with full colour, texture, and details. You will have the opportunity to review it and ask for modifications to the colour palette or minor linework details. You can request up to 2 rounds of modifications.

Printing and delivery

All illustrations are printed on high-quality fine-art paper, 100% cotton and acid-free so your illustration can endure the test of time. Once complete, it’s carefully packaged and shipped to you within 4-5 business days.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Completing a project takes about 3 to 5 weeks. This timeframe may vary depending on the scope of the project and the efficiency of our communication during the creative process. 

    Upon completion of the project, shipping and delivery times are 4-5 business days. 

  • To initiate the commission process, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required before I start working on the project. This deposit secures your spot on my schedule and covers the initial stages of the artwork.

    The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the project, and once the final piece is complete, the full payment becomes non-refundable - this ensures both parties are invested in the process and helps keep things running smoothly and on schedule.

    That said, every project is created with care and attention, with multiple stages along the way where we can adjust the illustration to best meet your expectations, so you end up with a timeless piece you'll love.

  • You will receive a signed print of your illustration, in the size of your choice (A6, A5, A4, A3). You can request extra prints at an additional cost. If you’re interested in a different size or want something to fit a specific frame, do let me know and I can adapt your illustration to it.

    A digital file of your illustration is included with the Signature package. For more info on packages, see this section.

  • Absolutely - you’ll get to review your illustration at key stages, and adjustments to composition, details, or colour can be made throughout the creative process.

    You can also add an address, a family name, a date or a short message to your illustration. Let me know when booking and I’ll make sure it’s included!

  • Yes, I ship everywhere in the world. Shipping costs are calculated at the time of ordering.

  • All illustrations are made digitally, on my trusted iPad Pro 13” 2025 model with an Apple Pencil Pro. I use the Procreate app.
